Control and Restraint Course

for Door Supervisors and Security Staff

This is a two day course for people employed in the security industry e.g. Security officers, Door Supervisors, Close protection officers, Event Staff etc…

On the course delegates will cover the following:

• Law and legislation including: criminal law, common law, human rights act, health and safety.
• Risk of death including positional asphyxia, excited delirium, and the associated risks posed by persons under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
• Escorting, holding, non harmful methods of restraint
• More restrictive methods of restraint
• Breakaway/self defence techniques
• Dynamic training session.

All staff employed in the security industry would benefit from this course. All techniques are taught by national governing body physical skills coaches.

All delegates will receive a certificate of attendance.
